Share several photos of your pet.
Pet portraits usually require multiple source photos. Michael uses the different photos to understand the proper color of your pet’s fur and eyes. Even if you wish for one specific photo to be the sole reference for the painting, it is helpful to have several source photos to correct for any photographic distortions.
Agree on deails.
During the discussion of your desired painting, you and Michael will agree on size, price, composition and other details. The basic cost of a pet portrait begins at $500. However, that will largely depend on complexity and time needed to complete the painting. Framing and shipping are additional. To begin work and secure your spot on the calendar, Michael requires a 50% deposit. The remainder will be paid upon delivery or shipping of the completed painting.
