Michael Delavar graduated from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs with a degree in Fine Arts, and an emphasis on portrait painting.  He is an airline pilot by trade and has painted both on layovers as well as in his free time.  Since 2020, he has begun exploring new avenues of expression, including some abstract and surreal art.  His main joy in painting is finding the unique recognition of the beauty in nature.  Sometimes that's as simple as a refracted image distorted through a glass jar, or the harmonious balance of colors of a landscape.
